a long walk

Wednesday, October 26th, 2005

i just walked from hornsby to my house. about 7km in under an hour. is that fast? my legs sure are tired.. the trains had stopped just as i got to the station after community dinner. and the next nightride bus was in an hour. as i was walking between turrumurra and my house, the nightride bus passed me. so i was even stevens. i’d rather walk though. i’m quite impatient like that.

it’s been a long time..

..but now i’m coming back home.

i haven’t written here for a while. i spoke to tom briefly about it a while ago. i didn’t delete my blog. i just removed what was there.

a long story really. someone searched for my old work, and this blog came up. and i thought that was a conflict of interests somewhat. not that i mind people at work knowing my faith. infact, it lead to a good discussion or two. but i felt it inappropriate for my work to be represented in such a way.

i might replace the entries later. if i can find them. i backed them up somewhere.

what’s happened since, well, i lost my job. as of last friday. quite funny really. my work decided paying me to go see movies wasn’t really a wise use of their client’s money, so they made me redundant. every cloud has a silver lining, and this wasn’t without a sizeable golden handshake. i’m buying a new guitar to replace my older one i gave away. i’m very excited. and very blessed. i wonder what crazy job i’ll get next..

what else? hmm..

i started recording a track for “christmas album: the sequel” today too with chris. he’s a very good drummer. and it’s handy having him in the next room.
